GOVERNOR JUDGE AND FIRST LADY MARI CULVER Des Moines – Below is this weekend’s public schedule of events for Lt. Governor Patty Judge and First Lady Mari Culver. Lt. Governor Judge tonight will help commemorate the 50th anniversary of Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev’s visit to Iowa, along with diplomats from Russia. Tomorrow, she will participate in the Iowa Corn Growers Association annual meeting and policy conference. First Lady Mari Culver tomorrow will help induct four women into the Iowa Women’s Hall of Fame and award a prestigious medal. This year’s honorees are Linda K. Kerber, a women’s history scholar; Mary E. Kramer, a former Iowa state senator and U.S. ambassador to Barbados; Adeline Lavonne McCormick–Ohnemus,(posthumously), a rural doctor and health advocate; and Lyn Stinson, a civil service volunteer. In addition, Sister Mary McCauley will receive the Cristine Wilson Medal for Equality and Justice for her efforts on behalf of immigrants and immigration reform. FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 Lt.
