U.S. Sen. Grassley; In Ames and Slater on Tuesday, November 24

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley will be in Ames and Slater, Tuesday, November 24. Grassley will give the keynote speech at the Iowa Institute of Cooperatives Annual Meeting in Ames, speak at Glen Keppy’s induction into the Cooperative Hall of Fame in Ames, speak to the Agribusiness Association of Iowa in Ames, and tour and answer questions from employees at Syngenta Seeds in Slater.

“When there aren’t votes in the Senate, I want to be in Iowa having dialogue with constituents,” Grassley said. “I look forward to these meetings and fostering the process of representative government by keeping the lines of communication open.”

Below are the details of Grassley’s meeting schedule. Grassley has held a meeting in every one of Iowa’s 99 counties at least once every year that he has represented Iowa in the United States Senate. He has already been to all 99 counties this year.

1 – 1:15 p.m. Speak at Glen Keppy induction into the Cooperative Hall of Fame, Iowa State Center, Scheman Continuing Education Building, Second Floor, Ames

1:30 – 3 p.m. Speak to the Agribusiness Association of Iowa, Iowa State University, Curtiss Hall Auditorium, Ames
