Washington, DC—Democratic Senators Tom Harkin, Robert Casey and Paul Kirk will join Kelly Buckland of the National Council on Independent Living, Elizabeth Priaulx of Arlington, Virginia, Alma Gill of Columbia, Maryland and Athena Jones of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a press conference tomorrow afternoon to discuss how The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act improves access to quality, affordable long-term care. Long-term care provisions within our bill will preserve and expand access to critical home health and home care services for Medicare beneficiaries and all Americans.
